Target your lime and fertiliser requirements
Understanding the state of your plants and soils is the first step in determining the assistance your farm needs to operate at its full potential.
By targeting fertiliser application to the paddocks that need it you save thousands of dollars. Prevent the waste of chemicals and money.
Analyse the effect of fertilisers over time
See what the effect of fertiliser programs are across individual paddocks, and find out what is most effective for your farm. SoilTech's advanced mapping service can bring together nutrient data and overlay it on aerial photographs of your property, allowing comparisons of your results over time to be generated accurately and efficiently.

Sampling with Precision SoilTech
Precision SoilTech's patented soil sampling machine can accurately take clean, uncontaminated samples from the topsoil, midsoil and subsoil faster and more efficiently than ever before.
Sample sites are GPS logged to an accuracy of a few metres, enabling future samples to be taken from the same location, resulting in accurate trend analysis of your farm over time. Sample points are automatically mapped within paddocks and are overlayed on paddock boundaries, lot boundaries or aerial photographs.
Trained contractors ensure all plant and soil samples are taken in exactly the same method over their farm each year allowing farmers to compare results over space and time.

Samples are barcoded to allow farm and GPS information to be efficiently delivered to the laboratory of your choice and then back to your agronomist.
Contractors send midsoil and subsoil samples to Aglime of Australia's Belmont laboratory for pH measurement and liming recommendations.
Precision SoilTech commenced operations in the summer of 1998/1999 and has now expanded statewide with 11 trained sampling contractors in the field located at Mingenew, Watheroo, Wongan Hills, Bencubbin, Cunderdin, Corrigin, Williams, Kojonup, Borden, Northampton and Lake Grace.
As the Manager of Precision SoilTech, David York has developed and operated the soil sampling equipment since 1998 and has a farming and contracting background that enables him to understand that timeliness and quality of service is imperative for a successful operation.
