Stephen Carr
B. App. Sc.; B. Sc (Hons); PhD
General Manager
Steve has been involved in agricultural research, development and extension for nearly 30 years, and has a history of applied and practical achievement. He began his career with the Department of Agriculture researching aspects of soil acidity and plant nutrition. During his PhD studies, Steve developed a soil test to identify subsoil Al toxicity on the naturally acidic sand plain soils in the eastern wheat belt. Steve then worked with CLIMA in pasture and forage legume breeding and selection. During this period, he made significant contribution to the new directions in pasture improvement which lead to the release of several cultivars of clover. With a comprehensive knowledge of current farm systems and a capacity to contribute ideas and new developments, Steve strengthens the Aglime commitment to help clients maximise profits within sustainable farming systems.

David joined Aglime of Australia in 1998, with responsibilities for field services. Since then, David has been heading the development of unique machinery for soil sampling, leading to the formation of Precision SoilTech in 1999. David's extensive farming and rural contracting background further enhances the services of the company to assist clients in profitable farming practices.
B.Sc (Biological Science)

Joel joined Precision SoilTech in 2006 as our Soils Research Officer, working on the Avon Catchment Council Project determining the scope and effect of the acidity problem in the region. Joel hails from Narembeen and possesses a unique combination of specialised land management, computing and practical farming skills.
B.Sc (Agric) (Hons) PhD FAIS
Director
Lorelle has been responsible for managing and developing Aglime of Australia since its inception in 1981. Her activities included prospecting and evaluation of lime deposits and sources throughout WA and the subsequent development of commercial mining activities on selected sites. She has also initiated and managed the extensive wheatbelt trial program and has developed Aglime of Australia’s unique suite of client services. Lorelle’s background from a family farm in WA’s wheatbelt underpins her comprehensive appreciation of the need for adopting practices that are both profitable and sustainable.
David Gartner
Sales Manager
15 years in lime research and extension with the Department of Agriculture has given Garts an incredible knowledge of soil acidity and agriculture throughout the Ag zones of Western Australia. His work with deep placement of lime and nutritional issues related to liming during these years enable him to provide excellent support and technical advice for both farmers and consultants. He is a keen golfer and enjoys fishing and coaching basketball.
A devoted family man who also enjoys farming and being hands on, Garts is a positive team player who adds support to the Aglime team.

Rob Lightfoot
B.E (Hons) B.Com
Director
Rob has been involved with Aglime and Precision SoilTech for over 10 years helping to ensure that our products and services continue to meet the demands of our clients. He is still looking to find some time to go to the driving range and fix the terrible slice which plagued him at the 2010 Brookton Golf Day.
